National Apprenticeship Week is taking place between 8-14th February and to mark the occasion, Skills South Tyneside will be hosting a programme of virtual activity to help you consider how an apprenticeship could fit into your future, whether you’re a school leaver or an older person looking for a career change.
The programme of events will include;
#AskTheApprentice | Monday 8th February 
Kicking off the week with an online social media takeover on Monday 8th February with apprentice Jordan Bell from Boldon based MB Air Systems who will answer your questions as well as talk about his experience of learning and earning.
Writing a Winning Application with ASK | Tuesday 9th February 
If you’re thinking about an apprenticeship and want to ensure you’ve got the best chance of impressing an employer, this live and interactive session is for you. We’ll unpick what an employer looks for on an application and how you can best sell your skills to give yourself the best chances of an interview.
National Apprenticeship Week – Parents, Carers & Educators Session | Thursday 11th February 
Do you work or support young people and want to further your understanding of apprenticeships? JASK will be delivering an Information Session with the practical tips you need to support young people into apprenticeships.
